GoodBlogs - the place to post and read great writing

GoodBlogs

The announcement I don't want to be making

Hey everyone -

Well, I'll just come out and say it. Starting Monday of next week, GoodBlogs will no longer be able to pay $20 per blog post that makes it to the homepage. Or $10, or even $5. It isn't that we don't want to (because we do), it's just that GoodBlogs hasn't really worked out like we thought it would, and we've hit a pretty large financial roadblock. The site will remain online and you will still be able to submit posts, comment, and share (more on this in a second).

GoodBlogs hasn't worked out as hoped for a couple of reasons, but the main reason is that Google AdSense won't allow us to run their ads on our site. When GoodBlogs was originally planned and built and launched, the idea was to use Google AdSense to generate revenue and then use most of that initial revenue to pay our awesome covey of bloggers. It was working too. For those of you that were around towards the beginning, you'll remember seeing Google AdSense ads on the site. You will also remember that they then just disappeared.

This was because, without notice, Google disabled our account, sent us a termination e-mail, and retained (ie kept) all the revenue that we had generated to date. To quote from their e-mail, "After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity."

After this happened, we applied for a new Google AdSense account (this one being applied for by GoodBlogs, LLC). Our site was reviewed and approved and we started running Google AdSense ads again. Those of you who were around then will remember the ads were up again and then, just like that, they were gone. That's because, again, they kept everything we had earned, and we received an e-mail from them stating, "After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity."

What does that mean? I have no idea! It is literally impossible to speak with a real person at Google AdSense. They do not provide customer support. There is no phone number to call. There is no e-mail address to reach out to. If you call other departments within Google asking to be transfered, they refuse to do it.

After this happened and we gave up trying to get ahold of someone at AdSense, we tried several other advertising platforms. Unfortunately, all of them pale in comparison to Google AdSense. They are just not capable of driving the same sort of revenue. This is the primary reason for our having to cease payments. There are a couple of other, much less significant, contributing reasons as well.

I think we can all agree one of those reasons isn't a lack of good writers or amazing community members. We have those in spades. I think we created a pretty amazing place here in a short amount of time (over 50,000 comments in five months!). It is my hope that many (or even all) of you will stick around after we are no longer able to pay out on Monday, with the goal being to get us back to a place where we can.

I hope you are still willing to share your creativity. To support your fellow bloggers. To continue to build your own followers. To continue to meet new friends, and to continue to read some really great stuff. If the site's traffic continues to grow, there's a decent chance that we can, at some point in the future, start paying out again. As a matter of fact, if each post currently on the site could, on average, just bring in 10 visitors a day from search engines, we would then be able to resume payouts to bloggers.

To that end, GoodBlogs.com will remain online and function the way it has, minus the monetary incentive. You'll still be able to submit posts, follow your favorite bloggers, comment on the posts of others, share articles via Facebook and Twitter, etc. In short, the community will still be here on Tuesday, and so will I. I hope you'll join me.

Sincerely,

Jason Trout

P.S. So what do you think? Are we going to set a record for the number of comments on a post with this thing?

Jason, I just read your post! It seems that when storms hit, sometimes it is one right after another. I am so sorry that you have had problems with Google AdSense. Thank you for being here with Goodblogs when I needed help. Yes, as long as you have a chance to succeed again with Goodblogs I will continue to post and comment. However, due to financial obligations, I will not be able to spend the 4-5 hours or more a day that I have in the past. Please keep us informed. I will definitely keep you, your family, and Goodblogs in my prayers! Yes, I have met some awesome Goodblogs friends!

I'm breaking my own rule about feeding trolls, but honestly, I just can't *not* say something to this. You may be a fabulous writer, but you are a vile human being. To call someone's pitfalls in a business venture "great news" shows an extreme lack of tact and maturity.

Could not have said it better myself, Dayle. This is far from great news and to say so is insensitive, selfish, and just plain cruel.

I'm just guessing, but I think he meant this is great news that no one will be paid any more. I can't imagine TRB saying that it's great news that Jason's business venture has had this major setback.

Hi Jason, I was one of the early bloggers back in march and I am so sad to read this post. GoodBlogs has been a wonderful place of learning how to create work that others enjoyed enough to vote for and then to get paid for! I made a good chunk "back in the day" and I want to say thank you for providing this lovely place of community. I have gained friends here that are still helping me to become a better writer, even though I had to cut back on my time spent here. Again I just want to tell you that you are a good guy and I know that all the writers here appreciate you and know that you have done all you could to keep it going as a paying site. Thanks Jason!

"I am staying...I love it here" - I wish you knew how much such comments mean to me. "Will you still retain online rights?" LOL. I'm not quite sure how that will work, need to figure some things out :-)

Jason, thank you for all you do for us. I'm sure the past few weeks/months haven't been easy. I would also like to stay and continue blogging. I do have a question though. Do we still give up all online rights to our work? I think my life would feel empty without the blogs and bloggers on this site. I'll still be here. :-)
    1. August 4, 2011, 3:07 pm
      Jason Trout says:
Hey Jen - You're right, they haven't been easy. I feel like I had this amazing vision for what I wanted GoodBlogs to become, and Google single-handedly crushed it. And while I'm sad and disappointed for myself and my family, I'm equally disappointed for all of you. I feel like you all deserved better. I'm hoping we can get to the point where that's the case...it'll be interesting to see what the future holds!
      1. August 5, 2011, 10:32 am
        John Horne says:
I really don't think the idea has been crushed. A big setback for sure, but it can be overcome. GoodBlogs could become the facebook for writers. To paraphrase one of my favorite generals, "If mountains and oceans can be overcome, anything made by man can be overcome!" Google is not a mountain.

I think everyone should take this post and share it across the 'net and catch Google's attention via viral marketing. You may have created a solid business model, Jason, but what you truly created was a community that has come together with such force to build life-long bonds that cannot be broken by a lack of funding. You have created a home-away-from-home for so many, myself included. Your vision for this site might have been with the intent to create a solid income for you and yours, while simultaneously encouraging great blogging, but what you gave to each one of us stretches far deeper than a pocketbook. Thank you for being the visionary that you are -- and for being so open and honest -- and for being a real person amidst many corporations who are quick to end something not profitable. Keeping the community alive for all of us is the greatest gift of all.

Mysti shared this place with me, and I have enjoyed seeing new links pop up on Facebook the past few months from either her or Jen with their latest contributions or those of another (they are great at sharing the rest of you, by the way). I hope to continue reading more, and I also hope Google gets some attention for what sounds like a scam hiding behind a big name.
      1. August 5, 2011, 10:41 am
        John Horne says:
I'm not trying to defend Google, but I don't think it's an intentional scam, or a scam at all. I searched (using Google) and there are lots of situations like this. What I think happens is that Google has a long list of reasons an account can get canceled, and the advertisers that pay Google have their own set of standards. The whole mess is too big for a person to watch over, so they must use a bot to check for fraud. The computer only knows one rule, "if a then b". It probably even generates the email. The trick is to find a way to get to a person at Google that can tell the computer that "a is not b in this case"

I stopped writing here (save a random post here and there) because I decided that I would prefer to keep *all* rights to my work. To that end, I'd appreciate an answer to Jen's question, "Do we still give up all online rights to our work?" . . . Depending on that answer, I might actually post *more* frequently here. On the reading side, I never stopped and I never will. I remain adamant that not only are there so many wonderful writers here, but wonderful people as well. So much so that we have been prompted to create groups where we can talk to each other outside of GoodBlogs. Regardless of the "online rights" situations, if people keep posting here, I will most certainly continue to read! My condolences on the bump in your dream for GoodBlogs. Not to sound too overly perky, but I am a firm believer in the fact the things most worth while in life come out of the things we work the hardest for and have had the most struggles with! (Kindly ignore my ending phrases and sentences with prepositions. Thank you.) In other words, keep at it! I think this concept was brilliant and I am sure the greatest success is yet to come!

Jason, you have cleared up some questions I've had on my personal blog. Google has shut my account down, 3-times now, and started it over at $0.00....my guess is that they are getting fairly wealthy off the backs of those that they are supposed to pay. FYI, I haven't found a way to contact them either.

      1. August 5, 2011, 10:33 am
        Denise Spooner says:
This is a great idea Peahen. Boycott Google, clearly not an ethical company if they are keeping profits earned through advertising on our articles. oh my- Bing, here we come! Heard they were a great search engine, just hadn't had the reason to change, now I do. Thanks!

I am fairly new to GB but I have loved posting on here. It won't be a hard decision for me to stay, because I haven't made any money on it yet or I guess won't be making any money from it . I love the voting system because it encourages me to be better everytime I write and would love to still see that in place with the comments. I love the feedback I get from so many good writers on here. This truly is a community of people encouraging each other to do what they love which is to write. If it gets back to a time where it pays, that's great and I hope it does for your sake as I know this is a business. Jason, you should be proud of what you have accomplished with this site and maybe you've hit a bump in the road but things always have a way of working themselves out. I have been on here for a very short time and I must say, that I have met a lot of wonderful people on here and made a lot of new friends. Though, I've not made it to the homepage, I am not mad or sad about it. I will have to agree, that in the economic times, such as this, it is hard to keep things going. I'm finding that out with my situation in my home with my youngest son being the only one working. I'm having to deal with some minor medical issues. I too, love it hear and will continue to be around. I don't think, that I could be without all of these wonderful people that I have came in contact with. Though, that the money would be nice, but, I'd rather think, that the people and the new found friendships that has been developed on here is far more outweighs the amount of money that anyone can obtain. I myself, also, would like to know if we retain the rights to our work? If so, please, do let me know. Further more, I'd like to ask you one other question that if you don't mind me doing so, that I'd like to ask that on another level and to send you an email. Please, do let me know.

I will miss people like Val and Carolyn as I too will cut back on time spent, but good people will still be here...after all, good people make up Goodblogs! Final note....I think as a goodwill gesture you should release all rights to the work back to us writers (online and off)...and we will feel better about continuing on a bit with you for now and into the future as GB gets back onto its feet. Perhaps Google AdSense will work now that you aren't offering $20 - would there be less of a chance of "invalid activity"? Wouldn't that be a catch-22 -- you would be able to make good $, but couldn't pass it down. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into maintaining this site - you have created a wealth worth far more than the money you offered for so many of us.

Jason, Sad to see the financial end of this going. I will stay because we have built a wonderful community of writers here. I thank you for that. I'm the third person here, if you would please answer this question ( a lot of writers are thinking about this): Are our blogs on goodblogs, now our own rights? We own them now?

My guess would be he would legally retain online rights to anything he's already paid for as long as Goodblogs LLC is still in existence. Unless he voluntarily relinquishes those rights.

Hey Jason, I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles! You have made such an amazing site here- I wouldn't dream of leaving! You made it possible for me to get a Disneyland pass!!! :) I love the community here and the environment and I love that I have a place to put my thoughts, feelings and commentary. It's been such a life-changing experience. You've not only inspired me to start writing again but I am pursuing writing my first novel for NaNoWriMo so thank you! I will be praying for you, your family and for GoodBlogs. I look forward to the future and I assure you, I've got your back!!

I completely agree with Mysti and Val...we have a family here. I believe I was here in the early days and I love it. I hate when I miss upcoming blogs, but I love seeing my fellow bloggers make top post. I am sorry it hasn't worked out as all hoped but you did in fact create something wonderful here...a true family. Hey, did I miss the info on the meeting point and time for all of the Goodblog family? Keeping you and our bloggers in prayer.

Jason, please, do let us all know about the rights. I'm sure, that I speak for everyone, that we all need to and would love to hear update on this matter. As for the comment I had read earlier on here, which said, It's not what Good Blogs can do for you, it's what's you can do for Good Blogs. To all Good Bloggers, let's rally together and help Jason out some how in order to keep this site up and running. I'm sure, that there has to be a way to keep things going for him. He's been there for us, why not be there for him? I challenge each and everyone of you to consider this message. Let's get together on this thought.

Well, I'd never made the homepage anyway, so I really have no reason to leave. ;) I really enjoy sharing my writing, and reading and supporting that of others. I'm sorry this has happened, though... not once, but twice! How frustrating that must be. Have you considered a PayPal button, so those among us who wish to contribute can? There is also Cafe Press, where you could sell GoodBlogs merchandise... I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like a to wear a GB shirt. These are ideas to generate revenue for your family, of course, not us.

Jason, I am so sorry. I'm sorry for you because this site is an absolutely amazing concept. The writing, the people, the experiences are all priceless. To think that you basically got ripped off by Google breaks my heart. I have shared so many stories, laughter, and tears on this site. My family and friends have read my writing here for the first time. I have found myself as a writer and have been so proud to share my work. And perhaps most importantly, I have met so many amazing people here. These people have shared in my trials and tribulations as a new mommy and in life in general. They recommended teething remedies when Jax started teething and they prayed with me when my Grandma was sick. You have created SO much more than a website. I am so grateful for the experiences, relationships, and success I have gained from this site. I am so grateful for you! I hope that you will continue to fight to make your hard work pay off. Please let us know what we can do to help. You have LOTS of people in your corner! Best wishes, Rachelle

Jason I am so sorry for your loss. I would like to stay on and blog here too. I came to over come my dyslexia and to write for me. I needed to do this for me. If this place stays open I will stay on and help out and blog here. I like people I have meet here even though did not get off to a great start here. I was considering leaving but now your dwon fall I can not do this one. I can not just jump ship and run off becasue you have no money to pay for top post. I came here to write and have others read and comment on what I write. I hope that this will work out for you in the end and I want to write for me and not for the money. Thank you so much and I am sorry this one has not worked for you. I hope you can get a case settled and all money earned will be paid to you on this. I know that might be why I never wanted to use google adsence on my Mom's blog site. I really did not believe in what I had read about all this. I am so sorry they have done this to you. I think here there is a good community and if people would over look the fact of money and really write from their heart I am sure you can have your dreams come true in what you want. I really think each and every person who came here and has earned money should stay on and blog here as they always have. I think this could help the community grow larger and he can get the support he needs to again start up like he had in the past and pay you for your top posts. I still think top posts should be done and people should still vote on these post. I think that shows support in the community and help writers become better. Thank you so much Jason and again I am sorry for your loss.

Wow - I'm totally bummed. I never made the home page, but it was cool just to have an outlet and to get my creative juices flowing again after years of inactivity. I'll keep blogging if you guys will follow me and keep reading! Keep the faith, Jason and maybe when things turn around, maybe I'll make the home page! Until then, I hope many of you continue to post funny, interesting, heartfelt blogs. These blogs are a window to your soul, people. The $20 was just chump change. It helped a lot of people that truly deserved it, but the majority of us never got there, or never got there often enough to quit our day jobs. It would have been cool to get a check every once and a while, but it only makes you work harder to get there!

I am a firm believer that everything works out as it should, although I am very disappointed that Google didn't play fair. You have started a great thing here and have a brilliant business concept. I also believe that, given time, your website will grow to the proportions of Facebook. It is such a unique and wonderful thing you have done. Allowing anyone to write anything they wish and to write for an audience they never would have been able to get on their own, brilliant. Even with the conflicts and differences of opinions, you have provided a forum for people to truly express their thoughts and opinions. I believe true friendships have been formed and you have allowed people to really connect with each other, people who otherwise never would have met. I will definitely be here and I will be following with great interest. I will be proud, one day, to be able to tell everyone that I was a part of GoodBlogs way back when...Take care Jason, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. (P.S. My niece was able to go to the last launch also.) : )

I found this well-written article that might explain Goodblogs' Google Adsense debacle. You can read it in its entirety here: http://www.suite101.com/content/how-to-get-your-banned-google-adsense-account-back-a335957 but to highlight a few points, I'll copy/paste this small section: 'Invalid activity' is a cover-all term, which suggests: You or your friends/family have clicked on your own ads, manually or with click generating software. Someone else has clicked on your ads a lot, either to get you banned or, sometimes, it's just a site visitor misguidedly trying to "help you out." Lots of clicks from one IP address or a specific geographic location. Clicks from dubious or poor quality web traffic sources, such as "paid to surf" schemes, or even pay-per-click advertising. And this section: How to Get a Second Chance With Google AdSense If Google disables your Adsense account, it's for life. You can never have another personal Adsense account again. However, there is another way to get a second chance and it is completely legitimate and within the rules -- you can open a business Google Adsense account. To do this, you must: Register and incorporate a legitimate business. Open a business Google Adsense account with your business name and address, which should not be the same as your personal name. Open a bank account in the name of your business, separate from the bank account you used for your personal bank account. Use your new Google Adsense account only on websites that are completely separate from the websites that got your account disabled. Totally separate means the website domain should be registered to your business and hosted on different servers. It appears to me, that when Jason was first banned, he was able to appeal but used the exact same website which they had already deemed inappropriate for ad placement and that was against the rules.

Jason - I am very sorry to read about the troubles you are having. This is a wonderful community that you have created here and I am truly grateful for the friends that I have met. Unfortunately, I do feel that the $20 pay out has caused friction and hard feelings within the Goodblogs community. I started here back in May (I think) and the community was small then, and we all got along and promoted and encouraged each other, but as of late, there have been more and more posts filled with "I write good, why didn't I make top post", "this one and that one are cheating the system". I think pulling the $20 pay out will help bring the community back to the writers that are here to write and not the writers that think goodblogs will pay their salary. yes, the $20 is a wonderful reward for promoting and marketing your work, but if you don't promote and let people know it's there, how can you make top post?? Anyway, I haven't written here much because I just don't have the time, but I read others work and vote and comment and i will continue to do so because you have created a wonderful thing here. Best of luck getting everything straightened out.

But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid." -- Martin Gore (Depeche Mode) I too am sorry to see a good idea fail, especially through no fault of its' own. There had been some problems of late in the system, which pushed me to blog elsewhere due to my own financial concerns. But as I said to the community a few days ago, I'll still be coming back to share my votes & comments, I just won't be posting as often as I have been. The reasons I'll be coming back are the people here; aside from one notable exception they are friendly, supportive, caring individuals. I've made some friends here that I will treasure for the rest of my life, and hope that I have been able to contribute the same degree of friendship to them. Taking this viral to take a shot at Google is a good idea too....good luck, Jason. I hope you can figure out how to make this work again.

Did you sign any form of agreement or contract with Google when you used the Ad sense program. If you did and the ads were on this website, then Google should have paid up. Sounds like a legal problem to me. As for me, I shall stay here at good blogs.

Found your problem with ad sense..... Termination; Cancellation. Subject to any third party agreements You may have with other Google customers (e.g., Your Web hosting company), You may stop displaying Ads, Links, Search Boxes, or Referral Buttons on any Property in the Program with or without cause at any time by removing the Google JavaScript or similar programming from Your Properties. You may terminate this Agreement with or without cause at any time by sending written notice of your desire to cancel Your participation in the Program to adsense-support@google.com. This Agreement will be deemed terminated within ten (10) business days of Google's receipt of Your notice. Google may investigate any activity that may violate this Agreement. Google may at any time, in its sole discretion, terminate all or part of the Program, terminate this Agreement, or suspend or terminate the participation of any Property in all or part of the Program for any reason. In addition, Google reserves the right to terminate without notice any account that has not generated a sufficient number of valid clicks on Ads or Referral Buttons or valid impressions of Ads (in each case as measured by Google) for a period of two (2) months or more. Upon termination of participation of any Property in the Program or termination of this Agreement for any reason, Sections 3, 6 through 10, and 14 through 17 shall survive termination. It says they cancelled your account because not enough people were clicking on your ads. You can try again and just ask the people of good blogs to check out the ads. We should do that if we want the $20 for front page! Here is the link............ https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms
    1. August 5, 2011, 10:51 am
      MrsRetiredBeekeeper says:
No. That is against their terms of service. You cannot tell visitors at your website to click the ads. That's part of the invalidity of the ad placement. And the ads are meant to lead to purchases, not just a dead-end click and dash.
      1. August 6, 2011, 6:07 pm
        Ann LeFlore says:
I see this Google Adsense on here as a problem. There is so many different account on here and not just one. When anyone from here that comes here all the time clicks on one of the ads it looks like you are trying to spam the ads from them. You have accounts on here that only come here to vote for family members and friends. You have a large community on here not only for wrtiing but also for reading and voting. Some only come here from email notifications when one of their family members or friends post on it. What would be a good idea if you need to raise your google search results is have people search on google for the titles of the posts they are looking for. It would help a lot if people after a notification was received would go directly to google and in the search bar type in the title of the post and let google find it and point to it. Then you click on the suggestion from google. If you then had an adsense on here google has seen that the person arrived from your account by a search engine and not a direct link in an email account. This way when the person clicked on the google ad it does not look like you are cheating google out of the adsense. If you could get people that are family and friends that come here for voting only to help out in this way it would raise your google standing in CEO. This is where most of your problems are. You are not getting enough searches directly from google. You are getting a lot of your traffic here to this site from email direct notification. You need more of the people who receive direct notification to go and search for the title from google. The more you have people searching in google the better your chances are for higher ratings in google and Alexia. Try this one..

        Ben Collier says:
The owner of the website can't, but where does it say the user's of the website can't?
        1. August 6, 2011, 7:25 pm
          Ann LeFlore says:
You are right but I think you are missing my point in this one. What I am saying is this. Google runs on SEO. SEO means what do people search for. It means that this site needs back links and also search for referals instead of referals from email accounts. I am saying that Google ranks there adsense ads from this one too. If a person searches from google and comes here to click on one of the ads this has meaning. If a person arrives here direct from an email account and clicks on one of the ads it has no meansing and google looks at this as if the people here are doing it to gain money. Outside search results and adsense have more weight than direct links and adsense or email referals and adsense. It has to do with a lot of factors that are not being taken into consideration here on this site and how the adsense is looked at and paid from.

Jason, just wanted to let you know how much I, and so many others here as you can see, appreciate what you have started here at Goodlogs and continue to maintain. Through some very rough spots and at an extremely hard time in my life I have felt the prayers and good thoughts of many Goodbloggers here I consider my best friends. I even refer to them as friends when speaking with other people about checking out their posts. Some of these Goodbloggers held umbrellas over my head as to shield me from the downpour of life's pain and burdens lately. I would not be who I am right now, still in the midst of such tornadoes, without them and the saving grace of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. :-) I'm staying as well and could not just get up and leave my friends or you ad your family. Real friends don't bail when the storms come, they grab an oar and row harder and faster. And so it will be with your committed crew here at Goodblogs. The best is yet to come Jason, don't give up on such a fabulous thing. We are behind you and support you, will continue supporting you and pray God turns these misfortunes around for His glory (which He gets here post after post) and to your advantage in order to provide for your family, as well as for each of us writers here at Goodblogs. For what satan has meant for your ruin I pray earnestly God multiplies, blesses and causes to increase one hundred fold. The enemy has stolen from you Jason and I'm declaring an immeasurable return to you, in Jesus name. :-) Philippians 4:13 All things are possible with Jesus! No one can put a price on true friendship............it is invaluable and worth far more than gold. More than anything Jason, that is what has developed here. What you have planted as a seed has been watered and has grown to astronomical proportions! Goodblogs is here to stay and we are here for you while the kinks are getting worked out! :-) We've got your back Jason and you now know I am not the only one here holding up your arms during the battle right now. Be encouraged, look all around you Jason. You have built a family of warriors that won't leave your side now that the fight is fierce. I say bring it on and don't give up! Perceived defeat is just one step prior to great victory! God bless you Jason, and may these obstacles be demolished at lightening speed, one after another like dirtclods that crumble beneath our feet. :-)

Dear Denise, I just read this for the very first time...I don't know how I missed it. Your words are so true. What Gb gave to us, we can never give back. I feel privelaged and honored to have written here, whether I reached top post or not, i love writing here. I love the people I met and still associate with, even if I never met them in person. Writing here and receiving feedback has given me the confidence that I needed to go forth and attempt my first book. Jason, I too want to thank you. Forgive me for not having spoken up sooner but this really was an awesome place to write. I am sorry it may not have turned out the way so many of us had hoped but perhaps God has other plans for your talents and we writers must venture forth and continue to write...either here or elsewhere. Thank you Denise for your encouraging words above. I understand you are helping my friend Diana with her book. Thank you Mysti, Shawna, Carolyn, Teresa, and so many others for words of encouragement in my writings as well as my life. Jason, I pray you are not seeing gb as a failure but for the success it truly has been to so many of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. May all ofyou be blessed in the coming of the New Year! Mrs. Retired bee keeper, I am going to suggest something that I think, that it would be of best interest to all parties on here, that if Jason is not able to retrieve our blogs, that we get into them ourselves, and write them down by hand and have them as a back up copy in case, he's not able to retrieve them for us. I will be doing that with mine later on myself. That way, you are assuring yourself a piece of mind in the long run. I would like to encourage everyone to think about this matter and to act upon it within reason of your own conscience. That way, you will know without a shadow of a doubt, that if Jason isn't able to retrieve them, that you will have it written down for your benefits. I would encourage everyone to consider this thought.

I will do my very best in stopping by once in a while to read the up coming post and vote on them. But, I must focus on my skills and strengthening them more to where I want them to be at. I pray, that everyone will forgive me for abandoning ship. I mus ask for your forgiveness. May God continue to bless you all. God bless. Also, I need to start spending more time with God and reading his word. Teresa

Teresa, you have not abandoned ship. The ship abandoned you! And you have no need to apologize for anything. People cannot be expected to tread water endlessly after their ship has already sunk! It is Jason that has left this place to flounder. I am certain that one day, those who dare to log in to read, will find there is no such place as Goodblogs and that there may in fact never have been such a place at all.

Mrs. Retired Bee Keeper, I thank you so much for your comment. I really do appreciate it. I will agree. There might not have been a place such as Good Blogs. I mus say, that in my short time of being on this site, that I have met a lot of wonderful people and have made many new friends on here.. I will always cherish the friendships that has developed on here and will always remember the kind words that was spoken of everyone here. I pray, that God will bring this site back up to what it once was for Jason. I pray, that God will open more doors for Jason to provide for an avenue for us to come onto and remain with him through this time for him. With this site, he has through the help and assistance of God opened many more doors for us in many ways. I pray, that God will continue to find new doors to open for Jason and the rest of us. May God bless each and everyone of you. God bless.

I worked with Google AdSense for 2 years and you can contact them and ask them what's wrong: Try the troubleshooter and send them an email.http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=9722 Also, please put this onto the AdSense forum--I used to resolve issues on it and I think it is a great platform to be heard. Hope this helps.

I am sorry to hear this too late in the game since I signed-up for the incentive. However, perhaps I'll stick around.
